Designed with a credit load of 30 ECTS per semester, the program includes a total of 34 compulsory courses, including 1 graduation project and 1 summer internship, and 15 elective courses, 12 of which are offered by the department and 3 by the faculty. Of the total course credit load (240 ECTS), 28% (66 ECTS) consists of elective courses. The department elective course pool consists of 32 courses, 16 of which are offered in the fall and 16 in the spring semesters, and the current number of faculty elective courses is 38.
The program is designed as a two-year (4 semesters) program with a credit load of 30 ECTS credits per semester and includes the compulsory courses of Master’s Thesis, Specialization Area Course and Master’s Seminar, a compulsory Mathematics course to be taken with the approval of the student’s advisor, and a minimum of 6 graduate elective courses with a total of 66 ECTS credits. The minimum number of university credits to be taken is 21 and the minimum number of courses is 7. 30% of the 21 credits (at least 7 credits) must be taken from courses offered in English. In the current elective course pool of the master’s program, there are a total of 33 different course options (17 for the Fall semester and 16 for the Spring semester), 30 from Computer Science, 2 from Statistics and 1 from Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
